A very charming silver medal. It was probably produced as a prize but was presumably never given out as there isn't a name inscribed on it. It comes in its custom made black leather box, with purple velvet inside. The details on the birds is truly excellent and they are struck in high relief.
Makers mark W.J.D.
I believe it was assayed in Birmingham during 1924/5 and the maker was William James Dingley.
It weighs 25.6 grams and is hallmarked.
